Privacy Policy

The short version: Dimefinch does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Everything your child does in the app stays on their device.

Dimefinch is a money-skills learning game for kids ages 7–17. We designed it so that it does not collect personal information.

What we collect

Nothing. Dimefinch has:

What stays on the device

The nickname, age, and game progress (coins, completed lessons, and items) that your child enters are saved only on the device so the game remembers where they left off. This information is never sent to us or to anyone else.

You can erase it at any time by tapping Reset all progress in the app's grown-ups area, or by deleting the app.

App updates

Dimefinch may download new lessons and fixes from our update service (Expo EAS Update). These downloads do not include any personal information about your child. As with any internet request, the update service may briefly process technical information such as an IP address in order to deliver the download, but it is not used to identify or track your child.

Children's privacy

Because Dimefinch does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children of any age. The app is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Apple's App Store Kids Category guidelines, and Google Play's Families Policy.

Parental gate

Settings and anything outside regular gameplay are protected by a parental gate that asks a question young children are unlikely to answer.
